Automated System Totes (AST) are compatible with computer-assisted storage, retrieval, and parts tracking systems. A proven industry standard by AS/RS component manufacturers, these totes are ideal for automated or manual material handling and picking systems, carousels, mini-loads, tote stackers and AGVs.These bins can be palletized on a 40 x 48 pallet.

• Custom protective dunnage is available in foam and plastic corrugated materials for additional product protection
• Smooth interior walls provide maximum cube utilization for product positioning and custom protective dunnage.
• Bumper and upper rim prevents shingling on conveyor systems, minimizing part damage and maximizing container flow and throughput.
• Attachable collars available to quickly add height to existing containers
• Stacking tabs allow positive and stable stacking of up to eight containers, with or without covers (except AST2420-2.5).
• Smooth, non-reflective outer surface permits consistent scanning of bar codes and allows for easy label application.

ASTs can be also custom welded for your application by adding length, width or height to an existing container. A Cut-N-Weld™ container offers added strength, shorter lead times, and eliminates the tooling costs that a custom order requires. Many accessories and identification options are available including adhesive cardholders, placards and hot stamping.
