ORBIS and Precision Thermoplastic Components (PTC) have partnered to provide a new all-plastic, fully enclosed top frame to create a highly hygienic and automation-friendly handling solution for the food and beverage industries. Reusable top frames are commonly used to stabilize and secure full loads of plastic, metal or glass containers during shipment from the container manufacturer to food and beverage processing facilities. This interlocking top frame can be manufactured to any length and width and is constructed of flat polycarbonate boards and rounded nylon “corner keys”. As a result, the contoured PTC Top Frame weighs 20-25% less than comparable wood top frames, and:

• When combined with ORBIS plastic pallets and divider sheets, the new PTC Top Frame provides a stable and secure load for shipment and distribution.

One-Piece Top Frames
ORBIS also offers one-piece structural foam molded 44" x 56"  heavy duty top frames, available with and without center stringer. These top frames are available in 4" or 6" channeled edge design that offers greater strapping strength. Options include molded-in logo, hot stamped logo and anti-skid pads.
