ORBIS Headquarters Hosts Wish Party for Local Boy
ORBIS Helps Make-A-Wish Grant a Local Boy A Chance to Meet Superhero at Disney
, an international leader in reusable packaging, has partnered with Make-A-Wish® Wisconsin
to send a 13-year-old Dousman, Wis. boy to Disney’s Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. ORBIS celebrated the recipient and his family with a Wish Party at its Oconomowoc headquarters Oct. 17.
The celebration began with a ride for the boy and his family, in a fire engine, from his home to the event, courtesy of the Western Lakes Fire Department (WLFD).
After arriving in a fire engine, the superhero-themed Wish Party featured all of the recipient’s favorite foods and games; and gave him a chance to channel his favorite superhero, Spiderman, before meeting him at Universal Studios during his trip. The recipient is passionate about superheroes and even has his own self-developed character, which many of his gifts were centered around, including a custom-designed cape with his superhero name embroidered on the back. ORBIS also provided matching custom-made T-shirts for the family, a framed comic graphic surrounded with employee signatures and well wishes, and other snacks, magazines and puzzle books for an entertaining flight to Florida.
“We were thrilled to again work with Make-A-Wish to grant this dream Disney vacation and host the perfect celebration to send the recipient and his family off in style,” said Jamie Hibbert, customer support team manager, ORBIS. “We’ve seen firsthand the profound impact wishes bring to deserving kids and hope to continue granting similar wishes.”
