ORBIS Presents Donations to Southeastern Wisconsin Non-Profits
ORBIS Hosts Annual Community Giving Reception
, a local manufacturer of reusable packaging, is donating to 51 deserving nonprofit organizations in southeastern Wisconsin. To recognize the significant impact these organizations have on the community, ORBIS hosted a Community Giving Reception in Delafield, Wisconsin, Oct. 24 at Revere’s Wells Street Tavern.
“We are proud of our employees’ dedication to help individuals, children and families in our community in a meaningful way,” said Bill Ash, ORBIS president and a member of the Community Action Team. “The Community Giving Reception is an opportunity to officially celebrate the Community Action Team’s work and the deserving organizations they support. We look forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come.”
During the reception, ORBIS presented the donations and acknowledged its Community Action Team — an employee-based group — for its efforts to support a variety of organizations that serve wide-ranging community needs. The team identifies local nonprofits and coordinates corporate volunteer efforts.
“Speaking on behalf of our entire Community Action Team, we are humbled to have the opportunity to give back to these nonprofits in our local communities. Allocating our funds is something we look forward to each and every year,” said Andrea Schwartzmiller, ORBIS Community Action Team member. “The Community Giving Reception is a remarkable event that allows the team to meet those behind the organizations we support and fully realize ORBIS’ impact.”
In 2018, donations from ORBIS helped Menasha Corporation — parent company of ORBIS — donate to more than 620 organizations across the country, as outlined in its 2018 Corporate Social Responsibility Report.
