Temperature

At ORBIS, we understand that every application is different.  Below you will find temperature range information for several product categories. If you have additional questions, please reach out to your ORBIS Sales Representative.

Plastic Pallets:

Depending on load types and racking environments, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) products can remain stable at temperatures from -50F to 170F.  Short term temperatures, like washing, should not exceed 230F.  Polypropylene (PP)  products are stable from -10F to 180F and short term temperatures should not exceed 260F.  Temperatures outside these ranges should be reviewed by ORBIS’ engineering team. 

Bulk Containers:

Performance characteristics are based on uniform static loads and may be affected by distribution of load, handling methods, number and type of access doors and temperatures beyond the range of 0° F to 120° F.
