Menasha Corporation was founded by Elisha D. Smith in 1849. He was a tremendous philanthropist in the Menasha, Wis. area. Today, the Menasha Corporation Foundation proudly carries on the tradition of Elisha Smith’s giving. We strongly believe that our business can and should play a role in the health and welfare of society.
With funding made available through the Menasha Corporation Foundation, ORBIS has a Community Action Team at each of its facilities to serve the local, geographic communities in which its employees live.
Each team identifies and selects groups, agencies and causes in its local community that are in need of financial support, time or volunteers. These groups are often within a reasonable geographic location of that ORBIS facility and bring social benefits to employees and the community. Funding is made possible by the Menasha Corporation Foundation, which has guidelines for giving.
