ORBIS® Corporation, a global leader in reusable packaging solutions, was recently recognized with the “Community Investment Award” at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and Greenville Board of Development 2026 Annual Banquet held at East Texas A&M University. The event celebrated 2025 successes from around the community, with many dedicated members of the Greenville business community, local leaders and partners in attendance.
ORBIS received the Community Investment Award in recognition of its significant commitment to the Greenville region through the renovation and grand opening of its state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility. The site, which began operations in January 2025, includes 420,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 240,000 square feet of warehouse capacity, dedicated to producing reusable totes and pallets that move, store and protect products throughout the supply chain. With sustainability at the forefront, ORBIS fully repurposed and modernized an existing facility, an investment expected to create more than 190 new jobs within three years and provide room for future expansion. This transformational project reflects ORBIS’ long‑term commitment to supporting economic growth and environmental stewardship in the Greenville community.
According to Holly Gray, Chairperson of the Greenville Board of Development, “This annual banquet is an opportunity to recognize the tireless efforts and hard work of everyone who wants to see the city succeed. The Greenville community is extremely grateful to have ORBIS Corporation’s investment and commitment to our city. We look forward to assisting them achieve great success for their customers.”
Lynn Hediger, ORBIS’ Vice President of Product Management, was on hand for the banquet, along with a small team from the ORBIS plant, and provided information about ORBIS and the new plant. “On behalf of ORBIS, I want to extend our thanks to Greenville for the warm welcome, strong partnership and shared commitment to growth,” said Hediger. “We are incredibly proud to be part of this community and excited for the future!”
